Invasive Species Survey
Some invasive species, particularly Japanese Knotweed, present a substantial economic and practical problem for development, drainage systems and public spaces.
SJ Services will identify and map invasive species, and prepare programmes of management and eradication works.
Species recognised as a threat in the UK include:
• Japanese Knotweed
• Brown Tailed Moth Caterpillar
• Giant Hogweed
• Oak Processionary Caterpillar
• Common Ragwort
• Spear Thistle
• Creeping or field thistle
• Curled dock
• Broad leaved dock
• Himalayan Balsam
